After reading all the requirements and guidelines and you feel you are eligible to be an Explorer, then contact us for more info and arrangements to attend our next meeting.

Please Note: After acceptance into the post, you will be required to pass the following exams. These exams DO NOT have to be completed immediately upon entrance into the program, but certain restrictions will be enforced until exams have been given and passed.

Below are requirements that need to be followed in order to be in our explorer program.



REQUIREMENTS

  • MUST BE BETWEEN 14 YEARS OF AGE, AND GRADUATED FROM THE 8TH GRADE UP TO AGE 20
  • ONCE BECOMING AN EXPLORER, YOU CAN REMAIN IN THE PROGRAM UP UNTIL YOUR 21ST BIRTHDAY IF ENROLLED IN A COLLEGE OR TRADE SCHOOL
  • NEVER BEEN ARRESTED
  • BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE PROGRAM ON A REGULAR BASIS. ATTENDING REGULAR MEETINGS AND COMMUNITY EVENTS.
  • HAVE A POSSIBLE INTEREST IN LAW ENFORCEMENT AS A CAREER CHOICE
  • PASS AN ORAL INTERVIEW
  • SUBMIT TO AND PASS A RANDOM DRUG SCREEN TEST
  • MAINTAIN A MINIMUM 2.5 GRADE POINT AVERAGE
